Our Thrust Ball Bearing comprises of a blowout patch, a seat ring, steel balls and a holder. The thrust bearing is mainly used to carry the axial load. When load is properly applied to this bearing, the internal contact points get aligned on a plane parallel to the shaft. This type of bearing is mainly applied on automotive steering gear and machine tool main shaft. The Thrust Ball Bearing is available in custom designs as per the requirement of the bulk buyers at competitive prices. We offer two types of Thrust Ball Bearing: Single Direction Thrust Ball Bearing and Double Direction Thrust Ball Bearing.
Single Direction Thrust Ball Bearings
We offer single direction thrust ball bearings consisting of one row of balls, which rotate between a housing washer and a shaft washer. They can be mounted separately. Single direction thrust ball bearings can accommodate axial loads and locate shaft axially in one direction. They are not suitable for any radial load. The small series is fitted with a press steel cage. Single direction thrust ball bearings with machined window type cages have suffixed MP (brass) or FP(steel). These bearings are available in various sizes and can be customized as per our bulk buyers
requirement.
Double Direction Thrust Ball Bearings
We offer single direction thrust ball bearings consisting of one row of balls, which rotate between a housing washer and a shaft washer. They can be mounted separately. Physical Characteristics
- The self-aligning ball bearing has two rows of balls
- A common concave sphere raceway in the outer ring
- The center's curvature meets that of the bearing it self
- The inner ring, balls and cage continue to rotate
- The self-aligning ball bearing has a tapered bore
- It can easily be fit to the shaft with an adapter assembly
Advantages of Self Aligning Ball Bearings
- Lowest friction of all rolling bearings
- Run cooler even at high speeds.
- Easy mounting and dismounting
- Permissible operating speed does not dependent on heat generation or cage stability and strength.
